SOLID AND BEAUTIFUL RACK
The good reviews on this wine rack were not misleading. However the assembly was less smooth than I would have hoped. Not sure what I would have done if there was not two of us to put this together. There are only a few pieces of welded metal and all are put together with screws, that go through 1-2 parts and screw into another. The glass sets nicely on top.
DIFFICULT ASSEMBLY
Unfortunately many of the screw holes and screw threads were not dead on.
We had to stretch the parts by one person pulling and the other person threading to get this table together. Granted, everything has tolerances during manufacturing and this is normally addressed by mating screw holes being slots. These screw holes were not slotted and this caused the issue, as the holes were misaligned. We were concerned that we would be able to get it together.
However, with our efforts we got the rack together and it feels and looks great. It is solid.
We have 15 bottles of wine in it and it looks great.
We did not have an issue with the rack wobbling. However ours is in a carpeted room.
WINE BOTTLES NEED TO BE STANDARD SIZE, NOT SHORT
You need to have typical wine bottles in it. Not fat ones where the body is short (like a champagne bottle) as then the curve of the top to the bottom of the wine bottle is too short. A champagne bottle would not sit in this wine rack as it would be too short. Also it might be too wide.
